His Excellency the Secretary General of the Higher Council for Science and Technology Dr. Khaled Elshuraydeh chaired a coordination meeting of the Liaison Officers of El Hassan bin Talal Award for Scientific Excellence at the Higher Council for Science and Technology  attended by 40 Liaison Officers for the directories of Education representing  all regions of the Kingdom.

Dr. Elshuraydeh has mentioned that the aim of the Award is to support and encourage educational, and innovative activities in the institutions concerned with education and training.

The Award will celebrate the silver Jubilee this year, which will be dedicated tp Public Educational Institutions, except Vocational education. HE emphasized the importance of cooperating with the administration of the Award in order to spread the word about the Award to all concerned in different parts of the Kingdom. HE expressed his thanks and gratitude to the attendees after which Mis. Sahar Fakhoury the Award manager presented the Award's background, criteria, and the mechanize for applying to it. This was followed by Q&A session.
