A Chinese delegation from Jiangsu Institute of Technology and Industrial Research (JITRI) visited the Higher Council for Science and Technology to discuss cooperation avenues.

Brief presentation was made about the activities of the Higher Council for Science and Technology in general, as well as about the activities of the National Center for Research and Development, in addition to a brief presentation on an industrial development proposal recently developed by HCST.

The discussion between the two parties resulted in considering cooperation in two main areas:

1. Research and Development.

2. Industrial Development.

The National Center for Research and Development agreed to prepare a concept note on cooperation that focuses on organizing workshop/workshops in Jordan to be attended by concerned individuals from both China & Jordan in order to identify specific areas of cooperation.
